STEM OUTREACH

In addition to the robot, CRyptonite is active in the community, carrying out STEM-related outreach activities. We hold annual Science Day Camps for local kids, STEM nights for the community, and share our resources with fellow teams.

Whats happening Now

In our spring semester, we are currently in the process of of designing, prototyping, and fabricating a new robot for the 2024 FRC season, Crescendo. This year’s game involves shooting notes into different zones and climbing onto a chain towards the end the match with the other robots.

Kickoff

Team 624 CRyptonite members convened at Cinco Ranch High School for a day of planning, strategy, and brainstorming to kickoff the new season. We watched the game reveal, discussed possible paths of design and future goals for our team as a whole. We can’t wait to CRescendo into the season!

FRC Rookie Team Conference

Science Day Camp

CRyptic Masterminds Summer Camp

Over the summer, Team 624 members got together to host a week long spy themed summer camp for kids in elementary and middle school. The kids got hands on experience with fun stem-related activities and enjoyed themselves with the task of finding the “spy” at the camp.

Texas Robotics Invitational

Team 624 CRyptonite competed at the Texas Robotics Invitational, hosted at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.
